Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity at NVIDIA for an experienced Senior Package Layout Engineer - Hardware. This position is ideal for an individual who has a passion for creating stellar hardware designs and achieving outstanding results. This role requires a highly motivated person with excellent problem solving and communication skills, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related field) with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Knowledge and experience with 3D IC design, CAD tools, and scripting languages is also desired. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and verifying package layouts for advanced semiconductor products. You will utilize your expertise to ensure the designs meet the customer requirements and adhere to industry standards. The successful candidate will be a creative and innovative thinker, with a strong attention to detail and an eye for accuracy. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and design package layouts for advanced semiconductor products.
  2. Verify package layouts to ensure they meet customer requirements and adhere to industry standards.
  3. Utilize CAD tools and scripting languages to create accurate designs.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure successful completion of projects.
  5. Maintain and update documentation related to the designs.
  6. Troubleshoot and debug designs as needed.
  7. Keep abreast of technological changes and industry trends in order to create cutting-edge designs.
  8. Work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  9. Monitor and evaluate design performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  10. Provide technical support and guidance to other engineers in the organization.
