  1. Develop and maintain mathematical libraries for use in quantum computing applications.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize mathematical algorithms for quantum computing.
  3. Research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in quantum computing and mathematical libraries.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug any issues with the mathematical libraries.
  5. Conduct thorough testing and validation of the mathematical libraries to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  6. Generate documentation and reports for the mathematical libraries.
  7. Mentor and guide junior engineers in the development and optimization of mathematical libraries.
  8. Work closely with product management to understand customer needs and provide solutions.
  9. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding practices.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Mathematics Or Computer Science: A Senior Math Libraries Engineer At Nvidia Should Have At Least A Master's Degree In Mathematics Or Computer Science, With A Focus On Quantum Computing. This Will Ensure A Strong Foundation In The Mathematical Principles And Algorithms Required For This Role.

  • Extensive Experience With Quantum Computing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working With Quantum Computing, Specifically In The Development And Optimization Of Mathematical Libraries For Quantum Computing Platforms. This Will Demonstrate A Deep Understanding Of The Field And The Ability To Apply It In A Practical Setting.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages: A Strong Background In Programming Is Essential For This Role, With Expertise In Languages Such As C++, Python, And Julia. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience In Developing Numerical Algorithms And Libraries, As Well As Working With Parallel Computing Architectures.

  • Knowledge Of Quantum Algorithms And Libraries: The Candidate Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Quantum Algorithms, Libraries, And Their Implementation. This Includes Knowledge Of Quantum Circuit Simulation, Quantum Error Correction, And Quantum Machine Learning Techniques.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Math Libraries Engineer, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills. They Should Be Able To Identify And Troubleshoot Complex Issues In The Development And Optimization Of Mathematical Libraries For Quantum Computing Platforms. This Role Will Also Involve Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams, So Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Also A Must.
