  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for materials planning, procurement, and inventory management in alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
  2. Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and product demand to make informed decisions on materials procurement and inventory levels.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and sales to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  4. Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
  5. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to materials planning, including inventory levels, on-time delivery, and cost savings.
  6. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for materials planning and inventory management processes.
  7. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs in the supply chain.
  8. Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to production facilities.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in materials planning and supply chain management.
  10. Mentor and train junior materials planning team members to ensure a high level of expertise and knowledge within the team.
  11. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates, address issues, and maintain positive relationships.
  12. Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain to ensure continuity of materials supply.
  13. Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate and timely reports on materials planning and inventory management.
  14. Stay updated on production schedules and make adjustments to materials planning as needed to meet demand.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to materials planning, procurement, and inventory management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • 5+ Years Of Experience In Materials Planning, Preferably In A High-Tech Or Manufacturing Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Supply Chain Principles, Including Inventory Management, Demand Forecasting, And Production Planning.

  • Experience With Erp Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle, And Proficiency In Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Implement Process Improvements.
