Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Data Scientist, Ops Data Platform who is passionate about data and eager to have a high impact on a dynamic, high-growth business. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of deep technical and analytics skills, and a desire to lead data-driven decision making. You will play a critical role in driving the evolution of our data platform, and in leveraging data to optimize the operational performance of our business.To be successful in this role, you must have a deep understanding of data engineering principles and practices, and a passion for understanding how data can be leveraged to drive continuous improvement. You must also have strong experience in data modeling, data analysis, data integration, and data visualization. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, along with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders, is also essential. We are looking for a true data evangelist - someone with an enthusiasm for data and the knowledge and experience to turn data into actionable insights. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and design data models and solutions to support business operations.
  2. Utilize data engineering principles to design, build, and maintain data pipelines.
  3. Analyze data to draw meaningful insights and present them to internal stakeholders.
  4. Create data visualizations to help stakeholders gain a better understanding of data.
  5. Develop data strategies to optimize operational performance.
  6. Develop and implement data governance procedures.
  7. Collaborate with other teams to ensure that data is accurate and consistent.
  8. Identify new data sources and evaluate their potential value
  9. Provide guidance to other team members on data engineering best practices.
  10. Develop and execute plans to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
