Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Compiler Verification Engineer with the right combination of technical expertise and passion to join our team at NVIDIA. This individual will have an integral role in ensuring the quality of our NVIDIA compilers while pushing the boundaries of performance and accuracy. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter with a strong understanding of compiler concepts, techniques, and algorithms. The ideal candidate is someone who is able to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Requirements: • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience• 5+ years of experience in compiler verification, validation, and testing• Experience with C/C++, LLVM, OpenCL, and/or CUDA• Strong understanding of compiler concepts, techniques, and algorithms• Experience with compiler optimization and performance evaluation• Knowledge of software development and debugging tools• Excellent problem solving, communication, and organizational skills• Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively and independently

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the quality of NVIDIA compilers through verification, validation, and testing.
  2. Develop and maintain test cases to ensure compiler accuracy.
  3. Analyze compiler optimization and performance results.
  4. Identify and debug compiler issues.
  5. Utilize software development and debugging tools.
  6. Collaborate with other engineers and departments to achieve team objectives.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies related to compiler development.
  8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  9. Document development processes and solutions.
