  1. Develop and execute commodity strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective supply of critical components for our technology products.
  2. Negotiate contracts with vendors to obtain the best pricing, terms, and conditions for the company.
  3. Manage vendor relationships and monitor their performance to ensure compliance with contract terms and delivery timelines.
  4. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruptions to the supply chain.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and sales, to understand product requirements and align commodity strategies with business objectives.
  6. Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed on industry trends, pricing, and supply chain dynamics.
  7. Drive cost savings initiatives through effective negotiation, supplier consolidation, and alternative sourcing strategies.
  8. Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as cost, quality, and delivery, to senior management.
  9. Lead and mentor a team of commodity managers to ensure their professional development and performance.
  10. Stay updated on advancements in technology and constantly seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures within the commodity management function.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Strategic Sourcing And Procurement, With At Least 3 Years In A Senior Leadership Role.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business, Or A Related Field. Master's Degree Preferred.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Commodity Market Trends And Industry Dynamics, With A Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Successful Sourcing Strategies.

  • Excellent Negotiation And Contract Management Skills, With A Demonstrated Ability To Achieve Cost Savings And Mitigate Risks.

  • Experience In Managing A Team Of Procurement Professionals, With A Focus On Developing And Mentoring Talent.
