  1. Design and develop cutting-edge technology for autonomous vehicles, specifically focused on mapping and localization.
  2. Collaborate with team members to create and implement innovative solutions for self-driving cars.
  3. Utilize your deep understanding of mapping and localization to improve and optimize existing systems.
  4. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and trends in the field of autonomous vehicles.
  5. Conduct research and experiments to further enhance mapping and localization capabilities.
  6. Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate mapping and localization technologies into overall self-driving car systems.
  7. Troubleshoot and debug issues related to mapping and localization.
  8. Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team.
  9. Contribute to technical documentation and provide training to other team members.
  10. Coordinate with external partners and vendors to leverage their technologies and expertise.
  11. Take ownership of projects and ensure timely and successful delivery.
  12. Continuously improve processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and productivity.
  13. Participate in industry events and conferences to showcase NVIDIA's advancements in mapping and localization for autonomous vehicles.
  14. Collaborate with product management and business teams to understand market needs and incorporate them into product development.
  15. Proactively identify and propose new ideas and solutions to drive innovation and improve the capabilities of self-driving cars.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Mapping And Localization Algorithms For Autonomous Vehicles, Including Slam, Visual Odometry, And Sensor Fusion Techniques.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Commonly Used In Autonomous Vehicle Development, Such As C++, Python, And Matlab.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Designing And Implementing Mapping And Localization Solutions For Autonomous Vehicles In A Production Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Machine Learning And Deep Learning Techniques For Perception And Sensor Fusion In Autonomous Vehicles.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Team Environment And Effectively Communicate Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
