Senior Automotive Cyber Security Assessor

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Automotive Cyber Security Assessor to join NVIDIA’s Security Assurance team. This position will require a great deal of creativity and technical acumen, as well as the ability to think critically and proactively. The ideal candidate should have a passion for automotive security and a strong background in security assessment and risk mitigation.To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a deep understanding of automotive security standards and best practices. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in security assessment and risk mitigation, as well as a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Security, or Cybersecurity. Additionally, you should have experience with embedded systems, automotive protocols, and secure coding principles, and be knowledgeable about security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and virtual private networks. A thorough understanding of cryptography and cloud security is also preferred. Finally, you should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills and be able to effectively work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct security assessments of automotive systems and identify any potential security vulnerabilities.
2. Monitor the security posture of automotive systems, identify any potential risks, and recommend and implement measures to mitigate those risks.
3. Develop and maintain security requirements for automotive systems, including secure coding principles and system architectures.
4. Design and implement secure communication protocols for automotive systems.
5. Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive security technologies and best practices.
6. Provide guidance on secure procedures and processes to ensure compliance with security policies.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security standards are met.
8. Create and maintain detailed documentation on security assessments, including reports and action plans.
9. Monitor industry trends and developments to identify areas for improvement.
10. Respond to security incidents in a timely manner and provide guidance to resolve issues.
