  1. Design and implement netlists for advanced ASIC designs, following industry standards and best practices.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of high-performance products.
  3. Develop and maintain physical design methodologies and flows to improve efficiency and productivity.
  4. Perform and analyze timing, power, and area trade-offs to optimize design performance.
  5. Troubleshoot and debug any issues related to physical design, and provide timely solutions.
  6. Utilize industry-leading tools and techniques to perform physical design tasks, including floorplanning, placement, and routing.
  7. Communicate progress and updates on physical design tasks to project stakeholders and management.
  8. Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical support and sharing knowledge and expertise.
  9. Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical design methodologies and tools, and implement them as needed.
  10. Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality physical design work within designated deadlines.
  11. Collaborate with verification and validation teams to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the physical design.
  12. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the physical design process, identifying areas for optimization and implementing necessary changes.
  13. Maintain proper documentation of the physical design process and design decisions for future reference.
  14. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner, promoting its values and culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Physical Design And Netlisting Of Complex Asics: A Senior Asic Physical Design Engineer At Nvidia Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Entire Physical Design Flow, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Completing Multiple Projects Involving Complex Asics.

  • Proficiency In Leading-Edge Eda Tools: Candidates For This Role Should Have In-Depth Knowledge And Expertise In Using Industry-Standard Eda Tools For Netlisting, Such As Cadence Innovus, Synopsys Icc, And Mentor Graphics Calibre.

  • Expertise In Low Power Design Techniques: Nvidia Is Known For Its Energy-Efficient Processors, And A Senior Asic Physical Design Engineer Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Low-Power Design Techniques, Including Multi-Voltage And Power Gating Methodologies.

  • Strong Scripting Skills: Automation Is Crucial In Physical Design And Netlisting, And A Senior Asic Physical Design Engineer Should Be Proficient In Scripting Languages Such As Tcl, Perl, And Python To Develop And Maintain Scripts For Design Tasks.
