Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Software Engineer to join our Simulation Platform team at NVIDIA. As part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional team, you will be part of a diverse and dynamic engineering group that strives to maintain and improve the reliability and scalability of our flagship simulation platform.In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive automated and manual test plans to identify, debug, and track software and hardware defects. Your attention to detail and ability to identify problems quickly will be essential for the success of the team.The ideal candidate for this job is an experienced QA software engineer with strong technical skills and a passion for quality. You should have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, a keen eye for detail, and excellent problem-solving skills. You should be able to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, including software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to deliver a world-class experience to our customers.Required qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks • Experience with debugging software issues • Experience with defect tracking and resolution • Experience scripting in Python and/or Bash • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment If you possess the necessary qualifications and are a motivated self-starter with a drive to learn and contribute, we invite you to apply for this position. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive automated and manual test plans to identify, debug, and track software and hardware defects.
  2. Identify and debug software issues.
  3. Track and resolve software defects.
  4. Script in Python and/or Bash.
  5. Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks.
  6. Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver a world-class experience to our customers.
  7. Monitor product quality and performance.
  8. Provide feedback to software engineers on product development.
  9. Document bug reports and test results.
  10. Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices.

Compensation
