Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated Physical Design Methodology and Operations Engineer to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, creative, and passionate about designing and optimizing the physical design of cutting-edge semiconductor products. The successful applicant will have a strong background in physical design, methodologies, and operations, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. If you are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of semiconductor design and are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, then this is the role for you.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.• 5+ years of experience in physical design methodologies and operations.• Broad knowledge of physical design flows, including synthesis, floorplanning, physical verification, and timing closure.• Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl, and/or Python.• A strong understanding of analog and digital design principles.• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and optimize the physical design of cutting-edge semiconductor products.
  2. Develop and maintain physical design flows and methodologies.
  3. Analyze and debug complex physical design problems.
  4. Develop scripts using languages such as Perl, Tcl, and/or Python.
  5. Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful execution of physical design projects.
  6. Provide technical guidance and support to other physical design engineers.
  7. Prepare and deliver presentations to both internal and external audiences.
  8. Stay current with the latest trends and developments in physical design methodologies and operations.
  9. Provide technical training and mentoring to junior engineers.
