  • Conduct thorough and comprehensive patent searches to identify potential infringements and ensure the protection of NVIDIA's intellectual property
  • Draft and file patent applications for new technology and innovations developed by NVIDIA
  • Work closely with engineers and inventors to understand the technical aspects of their inventions and accurately capture them in patent applications
  • Monitor and track patent filing deadlines and ensure timely responses to office actions and other communication from patent offices
  • Collaborate with outside counsel to manage the prosecution of patent applications globally
  • Review and analyze patent portfolios of other companies to identify potential patent infringement issues
  • Provide legal advice and support to internal teams on patent-related matters, including licensing and enforcement
  • Stay informed of changes in patent laws and regulations, and advise on potential impacts to NVIDIA's business
  • Conduct patent training and education for NVIDIA employees to promote a culture of innovation and intellectual property protection
  • Support the development and implementation of patent strategies to support NVIDIA's business goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Admission To Practice Law In At Least One State Or The District Of Columbia

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Patent Prosecution, Preferably In The Technology Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Us And International Patent Laws And Regulations

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Draft And Review Complex Legal Documents And Communicate Effectively With Inventors, Clients, And Stakeholders.
