- Develop and implement a comprehensive software security program for Nutrien to protect against cyber threats.
- Lead and manage the software security team, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security issues.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for software security within the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software security to ensure continuous improvement of Nutrien's security program.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software security is integrated into all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct regular training and awareness programs for employees to promote a security-conscious culture within the organization.
- Oversee the implementation of security controls and measures to protect Nutrien's systems, networks, and data.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting thorough investigations and implementing remediation actions.
- Communicate with senior management and stakeholders on the status of the software security program and potential risks.
- Work with external vendors and security partners to ensure the effectiveness of Nutrien's security program.
- Provide guidance and support to other departments on security-related matters.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the alignment of software security initiatives with business objectives.
- Continuously review and improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall security posture of Nutrien.
Extensive Experience In Software Security: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Software Security, With A Strong Understanding Of Industry Best Practices And Standards. This Should Include Experience In Conducting Security Assessments, Implementing Security Controls, And Managing Security Incidents.
Technical Proficiency: A Strong Technical Background Is Essential For A Senior Manager, Software Security Role At Nutrien. The Candidate Should Have In-Depth Knowledge Of Software Development Processes, Programming Languages, And Security Tools. Familiarity With Cloud-Based Technologies, Such As Aws Or Azure, Is Also Highly Desirable.
