
Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting

- Maintaining accurate financial records: The Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial records at Nutrien. This includes maintaining detailed and organized records of financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and identifying and correcting any discrepancies.
- Overseeing financial reporting: The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in preparing and reviewing financial reports for Nutrien. This includes analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Compliance with accounting standards: Nutrien operates on a global scale, and as such, it is essential to adhere to all relevant accounting standards and regulations. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for staying up-to-date with these standards and ensuring that all financial reporting is in compliance.

Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Related Field: A Senior Accountant At Nutrien Should Possess A Strong Foundation In Accounting Principles And Practices, Typically Obtained Through A Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or A Related Field.
Cpa Certification: Nutrien Prefers Candidates Who Hold A Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Certification, As This Demonstrates A High Level Of Technical And Ethical Competence In The Field Of Accounting.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Corporate Accounting: A Senior Accountant At Nutrien Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Corporate Accounting Role, Preferably In A Large, Multi-National Company.
Strong Knowledge Of Gaap And Ifrs: Nutrien Operates Globally And Adheres To Both Us Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Gaap) And International Financial Reporting Standards (Ifrs). Therefore, A Senior Accountant Should Be Well-Versed In Both Sets Of Standards.
Experience With Erp Systems And Advanced Excel Skills: Nutrien Utilizes Enterprise Resource Planning (Erp) Systems For Its Financial Reporting, And A Senior Accountant Should Have Experience With These Systems. Additionally, Strong Excel Skills Are Essential For Data Analysis And Reporting.
