As a Sales Agronomist, you will play a crucial role in providing agronomic support and sales expertise to our valued customers. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of agronomy and the ability to effectively communicate and sell our products and services.   5. Collaborate with other team members to develop sales strategies and achieve sales goals.
  6. Conduct field visits and provide on-site recommendations to customers.
  7. Conduct product demonstrations and trials to showcase the benefits of our products.
  8. Manage and maintain customer accounts, including sales data and customer feedback.
  9. Attend industry events and conferences to network with potential customers and stay informed on industry developments.
  10. Continuously learn and improve knowledge of agronomy and crop production to provide the best support and recommendations to customers.
  11. Utilize technology and tools to effectively communicate and track sales activities.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service and promptly address any customer concerns or issues.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions with customers.
  14. Represent Nutrien in a positive and knowledgeable manner to promote our brand and products.
  15. Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Agronomy Or Related Field: A Sales Agronomist At Nutrien Should Have A Strong Educational Background In Agronomy Or A Related Field, Such As Crop Science, Soil Science, Or Agriculture. This Will Provide A Solid Foundation For Understanding The Technical Aspects Of The Job And Effectively Communicating With Customers.

  • Proven Experience In Sales Or Agronomy: A Successful Sales Agronomist At Nutrien Should Have Experience In Both Sales And Agronomy. This Will Demonstrate The Ability To Effectively Promote And Sell Agronomic Products And Services To Customers, While Also Having The Technical Knowledge To Provide Valuable Insights And Recommendations.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Crop Production And Management: A Sales Agronomist At Nutrien Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Crop Production And Management Techniques. This Includes Knowledge Of Fertilizer And Chemical Applications, Soil Health, Irrigation, And Other Important Factors That Impact Crop Yield And Quality.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills: As A Sales Agronomist, Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Essential For Building And Maintaining Relationships With Customers. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Present Technical Information, Listen To Customer Needs, And Provide Prompt And Helpful Solutions.

  • Ability To Work Independently And In A Team: A Sales Agronomist At Nutrien Should Be Able To Work Independently, Managing Their Own Territory And Schedule. However, They Should Also Be Able To Collaborate And Work Effectively With Other Agronomy And Sales Team Members To Achieve Common Goals And Provide The Best Solutions For Customers.
