Engineer, Capital Projects

Manage, plan, organize, and direct engineering projects to meet company objectives for design, new product development and improvement of existing infrastructure. Work closely with multiple levels of management such as Corporate Capital group, Operations, Maintenance, and Technical Services teams to scope out prospective projects, agree on timings and service level agreements with clients, negotiate with third party contractors and manage the creation and delivery of detailed project plans. Complete assigned engineering projects and tasks relating to the mining and processing of phosphate ore, production of sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid, manufacturer of ammonia phosphate fertilizers and other phosphate products. Project management responsibilities associated with capital projects, including specifications, prepare requisitions, oversight on engineering firms, and bid analysis on project work activities. Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
