Cotton Lab Manager

Conduct laboratory tests for a variety of purposes, such as production, quality control, and minor research (GMO Trait Testing and Germination Testing). Tests new and improved laboratory methods and procedures; prepare laboratory notes, charts, etc. and writes up results of examinations; keeps accurate daily records. Work to develop data management in SAP, including implementation of SAP modules such as QA32, manage data input and generating reports for items such as inventory and quality data. Develop and own operating budgets for the laboratory and maintain control of lab expenses. Maintain adequate inventory of lab supplies. Work with suppliers for cost/forecasting management. Analyze data and owning reports; leading presentations and report finding conversations with management. Review analytical reports, analytical instruments performance, calibration standards and accuracy, and analytical procedures.
