We’re looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic Courtesy Clerk to join our team at Nugget Markets! Our ideal candidate will have a friendly and positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Courtesy Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting customers throughout their shopping experience, processing payments, and bagging items at the checkout. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves interacting with people and is looking to gain experience in a fast-paced retail environment.To be successful in this role, you should have prior experience working in a related role, such as a cashier or customer service representative. Responsibilities: -Greet customers and provide friendly, personalized customer service -Process payments and bag items at the checkout -Assist customers throughout their shopping experience -Answer customer questions, resolve issues, and provide advice -Organize and restock shelves with merchandise -Handle returns and exchanges in a polite and professional manner -Adhere to all store policies and procedures -Maintain a clean and organized work area -Adhere to all health and safety regulations -Handle cash, credit, and check transactions accurately -Perform basic math calculations -Assist with other tasks as needed
