Job Description

Nugget Markets is looking for an ambitious, creative, and detail-oriented Cake Decorator to join our team and help us create delectable works of art for our customers. The ideal candidate should have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, an eye for design, and an ability to work quickly and accurately.The Cake Decorator will be responsible for designing, baking, and decorating cakes for special occasions, as well as creating attractive and creative displays for the bakery section. To excel in this role, the candidate should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in cake decoration, a high school diploma or equivalent, and excellent customer service and communication skills. Responsibilities:

Design, bake, and decorate cakes for special occasions.
Create attractive and creative displays for the bakery section.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow safety procedures and food safety regulations.
Prepare ingredients, mix batter, and frost cakes according to recipes.
Monitor inventory and place orders for supplies as needed.
Train and supervise other cake decorators and bakery staff.
Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
Ensure cakes are finished on time and meet customer specifications.
Track production and waste to ensure efficiency and profitability.
