Participate in the monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes, and journal entry preparation for the Newton Plant. Prepare monthly account reconciliations. Ensure accuracy, understanding and consistency of application and ensure compliance with GAAP. Provide frequent and timely support to various business partners throughout the organization. Maintain financial records in compliance with company policies. Conduct inventory reserve analysis on a quarterly basis. Establish standard costs and update them as appropriate. Generate variance reports and analyze findings against Standard Cost. Analyze costs of raw materials and other supplies and create cost-benefit analyses.
