  9. Participate in emergency response drills and exercises to ensure preparedness in the event of a nuclear incident.
  10. Represent the NRC in meetings and hearings with nuclear industry stakeholders and provide expert testimony when necessary.
  11. Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information obtained during inspections.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve inspection processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Comply with all NRC policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
  14. Serve as a role model for safety and adherence to regulations in the nuclear industry.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Nuclear Industry, With At Least 3 Years Specifically In Reactor Inspection.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Nuclear Regulations And Safety Standards, Including Nrc Regulations And Codes.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Accurately Assess And Report On Reactor Conditions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Team And Communicate Findings To Stakeholders.
