- Participate in emergency response drills and exercises to ensure preparedness in the event of a nuclear incident.
- Represent the NRC in meetings and hearings with nuclear industry stakeholders and provide expert testimony when necessary.
- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information obtained during inspections.
- Continuously evaluate and improve inspection processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Comply with all NRC policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
- Serve as a role model for safety and adherence to regulations in the nuclear industry.
Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Nuclear Industry, With At Least 3 Years Specifically In Reactor Inspection.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Nuclear Regulations And Safety Standards, Including Nrc Regulations And Codes.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Accurately Assess And Report On Reactor Conditions.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Team And Communicate Findings To Stakeholders.
