- Serve as the primary point of contact for international regulatory agencies, representing the NRC in all communication and collaboration efforts.
- Maintain and foster positive relationships with international partners, promoting open communication and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with international nuclear energy regulations and standards, and ensure the NRC is in compliance.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to facilitate information exchange and regulatory cooperation with international partners.
- Coordinate and participate in meetings, conferences, and other events with international regulatory agencies.
- Communicate and disseminate important regulatory updates and changes to relevant NRC staff and international partners.
- Facilitate the exchange of technical information and best practices between the NRC and international partners.
- Monitor and report on international developments and trends in nuclear energy regulations.
- Collaborate with other NRC staff to develop and implement international initiatives and projects.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of international communication and collaboration efforts.
- Conduct research and analysis to support the NRC's international regulatory activities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on international nuclear energy regulations and provide guidance and support to other NRC staff.
- Represent the NRC at international conferences, workshops, and other events as needed.
- Assist in developing and reviewing international agreements and documents related to nuclear energy regulation.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to international relations and nuclear energy.
Knowledge Of Nuclear Regulatory Framework: A Strong Understanding Of The International Laws And Regulations Related To Nuclear Energy And The Role And Responsibilities Of The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (Nrc) Is Essential For An International Liaison Position.
