- Collaborate with HR team to develop and implement a comprehensive benefits program that meets the needs of NRC employees.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in benefits administration to ensure the NRC's benefits program remains competitive and compliant.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all benefit-related inquiries from employees, providing timely and accurate information and guidance.
- Manage the enrollment process for all benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
- Work closely with benefit providers to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and ensure accurate and timely delivery of services.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of benefit plans to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal regulations.
- Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee benefits, such as deductions and reimbursements.
- Develop and deliver informative presentations and training sessions to educate employees on benefit options and changes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee benefit elections, changes, and eligibility.
- Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to benefits administration.
- Continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the NRC's benefits program.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees by promptly addressing and resolving any benefit-related issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with external vendors, such as insurance carriers and retirement plan administrators, to ensure smooth and accurate administration of benefits.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Act as a subject matter expert on NRC's benefits program and provide guidance and support to managers and employees.
- Stay informed of industry developments and trends to make recommendations for changes or updates to the NRC's benefits program.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Benefits Administration, Preferably In A Government Agency Or Highly Regulated Industry.
Knowledge Of Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Employee Benefits, Including But Not Limited To The Affordable Care Act, Fmla, And Cobra.
Strong Analytical Skills And Attention To Detail To Accurately Manage Employee Benefit Programs And Data.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate With Employees, Managers, And External Benefit Providers.
