- Provide administrative support to various departments within the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, and appointments for NRC staff.
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical files and documents.
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with drafting and editing correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Monitor and order office supplies and maintain inventory.
- Prepare and distribute agendas and materials for meetings.
- Update and maintain databases and spreadsheets.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct research and gather information as needed.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Create and maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere for visitors and guests.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned.
- Proactively identify and address any administrative needs or issues.
- Stay up-to-date on NRC policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Follow established protocols and guidelines for handling and filing documents.
- Participate in training and development opportunities.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the agency.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned by NRC management.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Public Administration, Or A Related Field.
Knowledge Of Nuclear Energy Industry Regulations And Procedures.
Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Other Relevant Software Programs.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Diverse Stakeholders.
