Procurement Specialist

You should also have excellent problem solving, communication, and negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of best practices in the procurement and contracting process. Responsibilities:

1. Analyze, negotiate, and execute contracts to ensure the organization obtains the best value for goods and services.
2. Monitor and research potential vendors to identify the best terms, pricing, and quality of goods and services.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential vendors to negotiate the best terms and pricing for goods and services.
4. Monitor and review vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms.
5. Liaise between vendors and internal departments to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
6. Analyze market trends and pricing models to recommend changes in procurement strategies.
7. Prepare and manage requests for proposals (RFPs) and tender documents.
8. Maintain accurate records and reports of procurement activities.
9. Oversee the inventory and storage of goods and services.
10. Ensure compliance with legal regulations related to procurement.
