  1. Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  2. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and make recommendations for improvement.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance requirements are understood and adhered to in all business processes.
  4. Monitor and analyze changes in laws and regulations to ensure the company remains compliant and adjust policies and procedures as needed.
  5. Collaborate with legal counsel and regulatory agencies to address compliance inquiries and investigations.
  6. Provide training and support to employees on compliance matters to promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
  7. Conduct internal investigations and review internal controls to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
  8. Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in compliance to continuously improve the company's compliance program.
  10. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive compliance matters.
  11. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote a positive image of the company's compliance efforts.
  12. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance is embedded in all business processes and initiatives.
  13. Assist in the development and implementation of compliance training programs for employees at all levels.
  14. Identify areas for improvement in the company's compliance program and recommend solutions to mitigate risks.
  15. Act as a point of contact for compliance-related inquiries and provide guidance to employees on compliance matters.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Compliance Regulations And Laws: A Compliance Specialist At Nubank Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Relevant Compliance Laws And Regulations, Such As Aml, Kyc, And Data Privacy Laws.

  • Experience In Financial Services Industry: Nubank Is A Financial Services Company, And Thus, A Compliance Specialist Should Have Prior Experience Working In The Financial Services Industry, Preferably In A Compliance Role.

  • Attention To Detail: The Role Of A Compliance Specialist Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure That All Compliance Processes And Procedures Are Followed Accurately And Consistently.
