1. Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and medical professionals in the assigned therapeutic area.
2. Serve as a scientific expert and resource for internal teams, providing up-to-date medical and scientific knowledge.
3. Conduct in-depth discussions and presentations on the company's products, pipelines, and disease areas with healthcare professionals.
4. Support clinical trials and research projects by providing scientific and medical expertise.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute medical strategies and initiatives.
6. Stay updated on current medical literature, guidelines, and competitor landscape within the assigned therapeutic area.
7. Attend and present at medical conferences, symposiums, and other scientific meetings.
8. Provide medical education and training to internal teams, including sales and marketing personnel.
9. Participate in the review and approval process for promotional and educational materials.
10. Adhere to all ethical, legal, and regulatory guidelines and company policies.
11. Identify and communicate potential risks and opportunities related to medical and scientific developments in the assigned therapeutic area.
12. Represent the company and maintain a positive image within the medical community.
13. Collaborate with market access teams to support formulary listing and reimbursement for company products.
14. Provide scientific support for market access activities, such as payer presentations.
15. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and strategies to enhance the impact of the Medical Science Liaison role.
