  1. Develop and implement environmental health and safety policies and procedures for the organization.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  3. Monitor and assess workplace conditions to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
  4. Provide guidance and training to employees on safety protocols and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with department managers to investigate and resolve any safety concerns or incidents.
  6. Keep up-to-date with local, state, and federal regulations and make necessary changes to ensure compliance.
  7. Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to prepare employees for potential emergencies.
  8. Conduct accident and incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement preventative measures.
  9. Develop and maintain safety data sheets and ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement sustainable solutions for environmental sustainability.
  11. Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required.
  12. Act as a liaison with external agencies and contractors on environmental health and safety matters.
  13. Monitor and track safety metrics and provide regular reports to management.
  14. Promote a culture of safety throughout the organization through training, communication, and recognition programs.
  15. Stay informed on industry best practices and new developments in environmental health and safety to continuously improve processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Healthcare Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Regulations Related To Environmental Health And Safety.

  • Certification In Occupational Health And Safety, Such As Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Occupational Health And Safety Technologist (Ohst).

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Safety Procedures And Regulations.
