  1. Conduct thorough safety assessments for all Novo Nordisk medications, including adverse event reporting and risk management activities.
  2. Monitor and analyze adverse event data, identify trends, and escalate potential safety concerns to the appropriate teams.
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines related to pharmacovigilance.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk minimization strategies.
  5. Participate in the review of clinical trial protocols and study reports to identify potential safety risks.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date pharmacovigilance documentation and databases.
  7. Provide support and training to other team members on safety and pharmacovigilance processes and procedures.
  8. Stay updated on industry developments and changes in regulations related to drug safety.
  9. Conduct internal audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting of safety data.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert on drug safety and provide guidance to other departments as needed.
  12. Contribute to the development and implementation of drug safety policies and procedures.
  13. Participate in the evaluation of new drugs and provide input on safety considerations.
  14. Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency and alignment of drug safety processes.
  15. Proactively identify potential safety issues and work towards their resolution.
  16. Handle any safety-related inquiries or requests from regulatory agencies.
  17. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of the job.
  18. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and systems related to drug safety.
  19. Mentor and train new team members on drug safety processes and procedures.
  20. Represent Novo Nordisk at external events and meetings related to drug safety and pharmacovigilance.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Or Life Sciences.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance In The Pharmaceutical Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Global Drug Safety Regulations And Guidelines, Including Ich And Fda Guidelines.

  • Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills To Assess And Interpret Safety Data.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Effectively Interact With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.
