Job Description

Norton Healthcare is seeking an energetic and driven Respiratory Care Practitioner Apprentice to join our team! This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to join a leading healthcare provider in Louisville, Kentucky. The successful candidate will have a passion for providing quality respiratory care to patients, and be committed to developing their skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment.To be successful in this role, applicants must possess a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care, and be eligible for certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and/or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a respiratory care setting is preferred. Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is a plus. In addition, the successful candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
