
Women's Soccer Assistant Coach

- Assist the head coach in all aspects of coaching, including game preparation, practice planning, and player development.
- Help create and implement effective strategies and tactics to improve team performance.
- Conduct individual and team meetings to provide feedback and guidance to players.
- Provide instruction and support to players during practices and games.
- Help identify and recruit talented student-athletes to join the team.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to create a positive and cohesive team environment.
- Assist with scouting opponents and developing game plans.
- Monitor and track player progress and development, providing feedback to the head coach as needed.
- Attend team events and functions to build relationships with players and support team culture.
- Serve as a role model and mentor for student-athletes, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic success.
- Adhere to all NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development to enhance coaching skills and knowledge.
- Represent Northwestern University and the women's soccer program in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Collaborate with the head coach to create and maintain a competitive and successful program.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Related Field Such As Kinesiology, Sports Management, Or Exercise Science.
Previous Coaching Experience At The Collegiate Level, Preferably In Women's Soccer.
Strong Knowledge Of The Rules And Strategies Of Women's Soccer, As Well As Experience With Game Preparation And Analysis.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Work With Student-Athletes, Coaching Staff, And University Administration.
Understanding And Commitment To The Mission And Values Of Northwestern University, Including Promoting Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion Within The Women's Soccer Program.
