
Research Study Coordinator, General Internal Medicine

- Coordinate research studies: Plan and organize various research projects, including participant recruitment, data collection, and study timelines.
- Collaborate with research team: Work closely with the research team to develop study protocols, manage study logistics, and ensure adherence to research guidelines and protocols.
- Manage study documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of study data, including participant information, consent forms, and study protocols.
- Facilitate participant recruitment: Develop recruitment strategies and coordinate with healthcare providers to identify and recruit eligible participants for research studies.
- Conduct study assessments: Administer study assessments, surveys, and interviews to participants, following established protocols and procedures.
- Monitor study progress: Track study progress and provide regular updates to the research team, identifying any potential issues and proposing solutions.
- Ensure ethical and regulatory compliance: Maintain compliance with all relevant ethical and regulatory guidelines and protocols, including HIPAA and IRB requirements.
- Support data analysis: Assist with data entry, cleaning, and analysis, and contribute to the development of research reports and publications.
- Communicate with stakeholders: Maintain clear and timely communication with study participants, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth study operations.
- Continuously improve processes: Identify areas for improvement in study procedures and processes, and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry developments: Stay informed about current trends and developments in healthcare and research, and apply this knowledge to improve study protocols and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field (Such As Public Health, Psychology, Or Social Sciences).
Experience With Conducting Research Studies, Including Knowledge Of Study Design, Data Collection Methods, And Data Analysis.
Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Meet Deadlines.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Stakeholders (E.g. Research Team, Study Participants, Healthcare Providers).
Knowledge Of Ethical Principles And Regulations Related To Human Subjects Research, As Well As Experience Obtaining Institutional Review Board (Irb) Approval.
