
Research Study Coordinator

- Coordinate and manage all aspects of research studies, including recruitment, scheduling, data collection, and participant communication.
- Collaborate with principal investigators, research team members, and study participants to ensure smooth and efficient execution of research projects.
- Develop and maintain study protocols and procedures in accordance with institutional and ethical guidelines.
- Monitor and track study progress, identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise, and provide regular updates to the research team.
- Maintain accurate and organized study records, including participant information, consent forms, and data collection forms.
- Assist with data entry, cleaning, and analysis as needed.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation for institutional review board (IRB) approval and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Coordinate with external collaborators and partners as needed for multi-site studies.
- Train and supervise research assistants and other team members as necessary.
- Participate in regular team meetings and provide input and suggestions for improving study protocols and procedures.
- Communicate study updates and findings to the research team, principal investigators, and other stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between participants and the research team, addressing any questions or concerns and maintaining a positive and professional relationship with all study participants.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and stay updated on current research methodologies, trends, and best practices.
- Uphold the values and mission of Northwestern University and represent the institution in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Public Health, Psychology, Or Social Sciences.
Previous Experience Working In A Research Setting, Preferably In A Coordinating Or Management Role.
Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks And Deadlines.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Team Of Researchers, Participants, And Stakeholders.
Knowledge Of Research Methodologies And Ethical Principles, As Well As Experience With Irb Protocols And Regulatory Compliance.
