Job Description

We are looking for a Program Manager with exceptional leadership skills to join the Radiology team at Northwestern University. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with a passion for helping people and an understanding of the importance of the radiology department in providing the best care to our patients.We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of the medical field and radiology processes, with the ability to effectively manage and coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to think strategically and solve problems.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration, radiology, or public health• 5+ years of experience in a management or leadership role in a medical setting• Demonstrated knowledge of radiology processes, procedures, and protocols• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders• Proven track record of success in leading change initiatives• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with diverse teams• Ability to create and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and oversee the implementation of radiology department goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  2. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of radiology processes, procedures, and protocols.
  3. Develop and coordinate projects with stakeholders to ensure successful completion.
  4. Manage and lead staff in the radiology department.
  5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a successful working environment.
  6. Create and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  7. Handle complaints and issues related to radiology services.
  8. Develop and implement initiatives to improve patient safety and care.
  9. Track and report on department performance metrics.
  10. Develop and maintain effective communication channels between internal and external stakeholders.
