  1. Conduct individual therapy sessions with children and adolescents to address mental and emotional concerns.
  2. Create and implement treatment plans based on individual needs and evidence-based practices.
  3. Collaborate with other members of the Outpatient Services team to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  4. Conduct psychological assessments to diagnose and evaluate mental health conditions.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
  6. Stay up-to-date with current research and literature in the field of child psychology to inform treatment approaches.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  8. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient care and develop treatment goals.
  9. Advocate for the well-being and rights of pediatric patients.
  10. Provide education and support to families and caregivers of pediatric patients.
  11. Collaborate with community organizations and resources to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  12. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.
  13. Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in pediatric psychology.
  14. Contribute to research efforts and publications related to pediatric mental health.
  15. Promote a positive and supportive environment for patients and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree In Clinical Psychology With A Specialization In Child And Adolescent Psychology.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Pediatric Patients In An Outpatient Setting.

  • Current State License To Practice Psychology And Ability To Obtain Licensure In The State Of Illinois.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Treatments For Common Pediatric Mental Health Issues, Such As Anxiety, Depression, And Behavioral Disorders.

  • Ability To Collaborate Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team Of Healthcare Professionals And Provide Culturally Sensitive Care To Diverse Patient Populations.
