- Conduct individual therapy sessions with children and adolescents to address mental and emotional concerns.
- Create and implement treatment plans based on individual needs and evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with other members of the Outpatient Services team to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Conduct psychological assessments to diagnose and evaluate mental health conditions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and literature in the field of child psychology to inform treatment approaches.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient care and develop treatment goals.
- Advocate for the well-being and rights of pediatric patients.
- Provide education and support to families and caregivers of pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with community organizations and resources to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in pediatric psychology.
- Contribute to research efforts and publications related to pediatric mental health.
- Promote a positive and supportive environment for patients and colleagues.
Doctoral Degree In Clinical Psychology With A Specialization In Child And Adolescent Psychology.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Pediatric Patients In An Outpatient Setting.
Current State License To Practice Psychology And Ability To Obtain Licensure In The State Of Illinois.
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Treatments For Common Pediatric Mental Health Issues, Such As Anxiety, Depression, And Behavioral Disorders.
Ability To Collaborate Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team Of Healthcare Professionals And Provide Culturally Sensitive Care To Diverse Patient Populations.
