Responsibilities for this job include:

  1. Provide compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
  2. Follow all safety and health regulations, policies, and procedures.
  3. Assist physicians and nurses with patient care tasks such as vital signs, administering medication, and blood draws.
  4. Ensure that patient medical records are accurately maintained.
  5. Assist in the preparation of patient rooms and ensure patient comfort during their stay.
  6. Utilize medical instruments and equipment safely and properly.
  7. Answer patient inquiries and provide education on medical topics.
  8. Assist in scheduling appointments and providing patient instructions.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  10. Participate in continuing education and training to stay up to date on best practices.
