Manager - Logistics
The Manager, Logistics will oversee Mail Services, Shipping and Receiving on both campuses as well as the Lab Gas/Dry Ice Program. Make recommendations to Executive Director/HR regarding suspension and/or termination, based on previous history and documentation of warning status. Interview, hire, and maintain appropriate staff levels; provide direct supervision of staff; plan, assign, and review work activities. Review and analyze monthly budget statements, as well as other internal reports developed to keep informed of the overall production and financial picture; and implements price adjustments when needed. Serve as representative of Northwestern to the vendor community.
Five to ten years of procurement related experience.
Experience working at a higher education institution a plus
Proven record of effective relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders
