Northwestern University is seeking an Immediate Care Technician to join our healthcare team in providing urgent and acute care services to our students and staff. In this role, you will be responsible for providing urgent and acute care services in a professional and compassionate manner. You must have exceptional clinical skills, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of relevant medical experience, and be knowledgeable in acute and emergency care.We are looking for a team player who is passionate about providing the highest quality of care to our patients. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide urgent and acute care services to patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
  2. Monitor patient progress and make decisions regarding care based on patient assessment.
  3. Document patient assessment and medical care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  4. Communicate effectively with other health care professionals to ensure patient needs are met.
  5. Follow established protocols and procedures for urgent and acute care services.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  7. Assist with medical emergencies as needed.
  8. Educate patients on health and wellness topics.
  9. Adhere to all safety regulations and policies.
  10. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
