Northwestern University is seeking a talented and highly motivated Cytotechnologist to join our team. We need an individual who is passionate about the field of cytotechnology, has a willingness to learn, and is looking to make an impact in the medical field. The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology, Medical Technology or related field, have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, and have a valid cytology certification or be eligible to obtain one. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a team environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform cytotechnological analysis and diagnostic evaluations of specimens.
  2. Assist in the preparation of specimens for diagnosis and analysis.
  3. Utilize microscopes and other laboratory equipment to perform tests and investigations.
  4. Maintain detailed records of results and documentation of laboratory procedures.
  5. Adhere to safety protocols and laboratory guidelines.
  6. Compile and analyze data to generate reports and results.
  7. Participate in the development of new laboratory procedures and quality improvement initiatives.
  8. Provide technical support and training to laboratory staff.
  9. Participate in research projects, conferences, and professional development activities.
