  1. Develop and implement project plans for clinical research projects, ensuring they are aligned with the overall research goals of Northwestern University.
  2. Collaborate with principal investigators and research teams to define project scope, objectives, and timelines.
  3. Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any potential delays or issues.
  4. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently and within budget constraints.
  5. Oversee the recruitment and training of project staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their roles effectively.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines in the conduct of clinical research, including but not limited to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and the International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines.
  7. Communicate project updates and results to stakeholders, including principal investigators, sponsors, and institutional review boards (IRBs).
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of project-related services.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical research projects.
  10. Serve as a mentor and resource for junior project management staff, providing guidance and support when needed.
  11. Stay current with developments and best practices in clinical research, and make recommendations for their integration into project management processes.
  12. Represent Northwestern University at conferences and other professional events to promote the institution's research capabilities and achievements.
  13. Adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct and professionalism in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Clinical Research, Public Health, Or Healthcare Administration.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Managing Clinical Research Projects, Preferably In An Academic Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Compliance In Clinical Research, Including Fda Regulations And Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) Guidelines.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Develop And Manage Project Timelines, Budgets, And Resources.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams, Faculty, And External Stakeholders.
