Board Certification In Anesthesiology: Candidates For This Position Should Hold A Valid Board Certification In Anesthesiology From The American Board Of Anesthesiology (Aba) Or Equivalent.
Fellowship Training In Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology: Applicants Should Have Completed A Fellowship In Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology From An Accredited Institution, Demonstrating Advanced Knowledge And Skills In The Field.
Experience In Complex Cardiac Cases: A Strong Background In Managing Complex Cardiac Cases, Such As Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting, Valve Repair/Replacement, And Minimally Invasive Procedures, Is Essential For This Role.
Proficiency In Transesophageal Echocardiography (Tee): The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Performing And Interpreting Tee, As Well As Have A Strong Understanding Of Hemodynamic Monitoring And Management.
Commitment To Teaching And Research: As A Faculty Member At Northwestern University, The Candidate Should Have A Passion For Teaching And Contributing To Research In The Field Of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology, As Well As A Track Record Of Scholarly Activity.
