  1. Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for pediatric patients in both English and Spanish.
  2. Develop and implement culturally sensitive interventions for children with neurological and developmental disorders.
  3. Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care for patients.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments and treatment plans.
  5. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in pediatric neuropsychology.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  7. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.
  8. Provide consultation and education to families and caregivers on the results of neuropsychological assessments and treatment recommendations.
  9. Participate in clinical supervision and training for postdoctoral fellows, interns, and other staff members.
  10. Contribute to research projects and publications related to pediatric neuropsychology.
  11. Support the mission and values of Northwestern University and the department of neuropsychology.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude in interactions with colleagues, patients, and families.
  13. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and conferences.
  14. Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to patient confidentiality and privacy.
  15. Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  16. Act as an advocate for children and their families, ensuring that their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  17. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
  18. Collaborate with community organizations and resources to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  19. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance knowledge and skills.
  20. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • A Doctoral Degree In Neuropsychology Or A Related Field, With Specialized Training Or Coursework In Pediatric Neuropsychology.

  • Fluency In Both English And Spanish, With Demonstrated Proficiency In Administering And Interpreting Neuropsychological Assessments In Both Languages.

  • Experience Working With Pediatric Populations, Preferably In A Clinical Or Research Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Cultural And Linguistic Considerations In Neuropsychological Assessment And Treatment, Particularly As It Relates To The Latino Community.

  • Strong Research Skills, With A Track Record Of Publications And Grant Funding In The Field Of Pediatric Neuropsychology.
