1. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families during their stay at the medical center.
2. Assist with daily tasks such as feeding, grooming, and mobility for patients who may have difficulty performing these tasks independently.
3. Monitor and report any changes in patients' physical or emotional well-being to the appropriate medical staff.
4. Work closely with other care team members to ensure patients receive high-quality, holistic care.
5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff to ensure all care needs and preferences are met.
6. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including assisting with maintaining patient rooms and common areas.
7. Demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic approach to care, understanding the unique needs and challenges of each patient.
8. Adhere to all policies and procedures of the medical center, including maintaining patient confidentiality.
9. Continuously strive to provide exceptional care and make a positive impact on the lives of patients and their families.
10. Attend regular training and education sessions to improve skills and knowledge of patient care.
11. Participate in team meetings and discussions to provide input and suggestions for improving patient care.
12. Display professionalism and a positive attitude at all times, promoting a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and their families.
13. Collaborate with community resources and support systems to assist patients with transitioning back to their homes or other care facilities.
14. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and observations.
