  1. Conduct research and development to design, test, and evaluate advanced weapon systems for military and government clients.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges in the development of weapon systems.
  3. Utilize your expertise in weapons engineering to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge technologies for the defense industry.
  4. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards in the design and testing of weapons systems.
  5. Analyze data, identify trends, and propose solutions to improve the performance and effectiveness of weapon systems.
  6. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.

  15. Represent Northrop Grumman as a subject matter expert in weapon systems at industry conferences and events.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Design, Development, And Testing Of Weapons Systems.

  • Strong Understanding Of Relevant Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Mil-Std-810 And Mil-Std-461.

  • Experience With Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software, Such As Solidworks Or Autocad.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment.
