Manage and maintain the VMWare infrastructure for Northrop Grumman, ensuring its stability, security, and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the VMWare infrastructure, working closely with other team members and stakeholders.
Continuously monitor and optimize the VMWare environment to meet evolving business needs and industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support new VMWare solutions and upgrades.
Develop and maintain documentation for VMWare infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to make recommendations for enhancing the VMWare infrastructure.
Work with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary hardware and software for the VMWare environment.
Train and mentor junior team members on VMWare technologies and processes.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide off-hours support for critical issues.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security protocols, to ensure the protection of sensitive data and systems.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Active Secret Security Clearance.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Vmware Infrastructure Administration, Specifically With Vmware Vsphere And Vcenter.
Experience With Configuring And Managing Virtual Networks And Storage In A Vmware Environment.
Knowledge Of Scripting Languages Such As Powershell Or Python For Automating Tasks And Troubleshooting.
