Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services.
Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough evaluations to determine their suitability for partnership with Northrop Grumman.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and favorable terms for the company.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
Monitor and track supplier performance, including delivery timelines, quality of products and services, and adherence to contract terms.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and identify potential cost savings opportunities.
Create and maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations related to procurement and ensure compliance with those regulations.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in the procurement process.
Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide updates on procurement status and address any concerns or issues.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Procurement, Preferably Within The Aerospace Or Defense Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Supply Chain Processes, Including Sourcing, Contract Negotiations, And Supplier Management.
Proficiency In Supply Chain Management Software And Tools, Such As Sap, Oracle, Or Ariba.
Excellent Communication, Negotiation, And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Manage And Prioritize Multiple Projects.
