  1. Lead a team of subcontracts professionals and provide guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
  2. Manage the procurement process for subcontracts, including identifying potential suppliers, issuing requests for proposals, and evaluating bids.
  3. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with subcontractors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  5. Monitor and track subcontractor performance, ensuring on-time delivery, quality standards, and contract compliance.
  6. Conduct regular reviews of subcontractor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, program management, and finance, to ensure the timely and successful execution of subcontracts.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  9. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to subcontracts.
  10. Mentor and develop team members, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  11. Participate in contract negotiations and provide input on subcontracting strategies to achieve program objectives.
  12. Prepare and present regular reports on subcontract status, risks, and opportunities to senior management.
  13. Continuously monitor and assess subcontract costs, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing cost reduction strategies.
  14. Collaborate with other GSC managers to share best practices and ensure consistency across programs.
  15. Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with subcontractors, customers, and other stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Subcontract Management, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Government Contracting Regulations And Compliance Requirements.

  • Excellent Negotiation And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Subcontractors.

  • Experience Managing A Team And Leading Strategic Initiatives To Improve Subcontract Management Processes And Procedures.
