
Subcontracts GSC Manager

- Lead a team of subcontracts professionals and provide guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
- Manage the procurement process for subcontracts, including identifying potential suppliers, issuing requests for proposals, and evaluating bids.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with subcontractors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and track subcontractor performance, ensuring on-time delivery, quality standards, and contract compliance.
- Conduct regular reviews of subcontractor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, program management, and finance, to ensure the timely and successful execution of subcontracts.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to subcontracts.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Participate in contract negotiations and provide input on subcontracting strategies to achieve program objectives.
- Prepare and present regular reports on subcontract status, risks, and opportunities to senior management.
- Continuously monitor and assess subcontract costs, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing cost reduction strategies.
- Collaborate with other GSC managers to share best practices and ensure consistency across programs.
- Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with subcontractors, customers, and other stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Subcontract Management, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Strong Understanding Of Government Contracting Regulations And Compliance Requirements.
Excellent Negotiation And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Subcontractors.
Experience Managing A Team And Leading Strategic Initiatives To Improve Subcontract Management Processes And Procedures.
