Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Physics Or A Related Field: This Position Requires A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Physics, With A Preference For Candidates Who Hold A Phd. A Strong Background In Theoretical And Experimental Physics Is Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Extensive Experience In Transformational Physics Research: Candidates Must Have A Proven Track Record Of Conducting Innovative And Cutting-Edge Research In Areas Such As Quantum Mechanics, Advanced Materials, Or High-Energy Physics. Previous Experience In Developing And Leading Transformational Physics Projects Is Highly Desirable.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Staff Transformational Physicist Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Complex Data And Developing New Theories And Models To Explain Physical Phenomena. Therefore, A Strong Background In Mathematics, Statistics, And Computer Programming Is Necessary.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Abilities: This Position Requires The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Scientific Concepts To Both Technical And Non-Technical Audiences. The Staff Transformational Physicist Will Also Work Closely With Interdisciplinary Teams, So Strong Collaboration And Team-Building Skills Are Critical.

  • Security Clearance: Due To The Sensitive And Classified Nature Of The Projects At Northrop Grumman, Candidates Must Be Able To Obtain And Maintain A Security Clearance. Prior Experience Working In A Government Or Military Setting Is A Plus.
