- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies and processes that support the company's goals and objectives.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for increased efficiency and cost savings.
- Monitor and report on key supply chain metrics, such as inventory levels, lead times, and supplier performance.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure timely delivery of quality materials and services at competitive prices.
- Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, bidding, and purchasing of goods and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure supply chain processes align with those needs.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management, and make recommendations for adoption as appropriate.
- Support the implementation of new systems and technologies to improve supply chain processes.
- Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks, such as disruptions in supply or changes in regulations.
- Train and mentor junior supply chain team members to ensure a strong and capable workforce.
- Participate in budget planning and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to provide updates on supply chain performance and initiatives.
- Uphold company standards and policies related to ethical sourcing and sustainability practices.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to optimize supply chain operations.
- Take ownership of special projects and initiatives related to supply chain operations as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Operations, Preferably In A Defense Or Aerospace Industry.
Knowledge Of Supply Chain Principles And Processes, Including Procurement, Inventory Management, And Logistics.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Implement Process Improvements.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Internal And External Stakeholders.
