Advanced Degree In Physics Or A Related Field: A Staff Superconducting Device Physicist At Northrop Grumman Should Have A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Physics Or A Related Field Such As Electrical Engineering Or Materials Science. A Phd Is Preferred.
Expertise In Superconducting Devices: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background And Experience In The Design, Fabrication, And Testing Of Superconducting Devices Such As Squids, Josephson Junctions, And Superconducting Quantum Circuits.
Proficiency In Cryogenics And Low-Temperature Physics: Superconducting Devices Operate At Extremely Low Temperatures, And A Staff Superconducting Device Physicist Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Cryogenics And Low-Temperature Physics.
